Cartridge Tower Entertainment is an indie game studio Started by Toby Peavy (Me) in late 2023.
In the logo of Cartridge Tower Entertainment, you see three different cartridges stacked on top of each other with 3 different colors. These colors actually have a meaning! They represent Cartridge Tower's main priorities. First of all, the closer to the console the cartridge is, the higher the priority. The green, and #1 priority, represents fun. I believe that fun may be the most important aspect of a game. If a game isn't that fun, the chances are that you may just get bored and drop it. The yellow, and #2 priority, represents quality. By "quality" I don't necessarily mean just looking good, but playing good as well. I would rather a game look a little dated for the time but lacks glitches, than a game that looks nearly perfect but has a lot of glitches, although I do think it is still important to focus on both if you can. The blue, and #3 priority, represents community. Listening to your community's feedback is probably the best way to improve your game. If someone criticizes your game, it's probably not out of hate for it, but probably out of hope that you'll listen and make things better. If you're wanting to develop a quality, fun game, then listening to the people who want your game to be better and more fun is probably a good idea. There is actually a 4th meaning. All three colors represent variety. I want there to be more variety, not only inside the games I make, but when it comes to all the different games themselves. I plan to make different types of games in the future with different genres, atmosphere, art style, and gameplay.
Currently, Cartridge Tower Entertainment hasn't released any games yet, but 1 is currently under development (Mr. John's Ultra Wacky Adventure).
Currently, there is only 1 developer at Cartridge Tower Entertainment (Toby Peavy), with plans to grow in the future. There is also 1 person helping out a bit with non-developing aspects, (Nicholas Cook).
